it will get better when I have more time
No internet around lately. I brought home all those pickets from CoMo last trip when I went back to replace some gas line. After that it was home building a makerspace work table to go in the bedroom.

Then it was off to get a deer during the rifle season here in middle west. I found some persimmons to harvest on the way home. I'm now at Bennett butchereing the skinned and quarted deer. I cooked some good back strap meat for dinner last night...and more apple bread.

@ 781-checking gas line ability to hold pressure
What have I been doing-I put in the lower rail for the ongoing fence project. The upper rail was waiting till I new the height of my pickets from Columbia. I had to go to Columbia to work on the gas line and hook up the gas water heater after disconnecting the small electric one. I seem to have forgotten the cord for the camera so pictures will have to come later. I did bring home 160 used cedar pickets for the fence.

Petra near the Cyprus- excuse the covered plywood stash
Here in the mid-west the cold is about to move in. It's been in the 60's lately and I unconsciously felt it would just stay that way for another few weeks while I finished up "temperature sensitive projects". I moved the plumb tree closer to the new fence line and also planted the Cyprus tree I brought back from Como. There's a few grape vines to move but that may wait till spring thaw.

gate by rear porch- to/from parking area
The temporary gate I made from an alley find baby crib side has been relaced by a real gate- made of alley find wood.

old knob and tube wiring comes out
There is now modern romex with ground bringing electrons to the newly replaced duplex receptacle by the wood stove.

a double batch this time
This quick-bread recipe consistently turns out well. This time it's home made organic apple sauce with a little organic pear sauce bread- with raisins thrown in. Using the electric oven is a good way to lower the density of my air molecules- something I'm looking for this time of year.

gates in new position
It's a beautiful fall day and indoors was for the rat racers. The fence project here at B saw the alley gates get removed and moved and some temporary salvaged chicken wire put up on the new posts awaiting rails and pickets. So, the parking area is now open to the alley.

where the old switch was-behind open door
bathroom wall light switch and GFIC receptacle
The electric work started yesterday in the bathroom is now done. The switch used to be behind the door and is now in a proper place- above the future sink and not hidden by the open door. There is also now a GFIC receptacle- previously no receptacles in the bathroom.

Yesterday, I made a big pot of soup- tomato base  with venison burger, onions, celery, potatoes, etc. and also picked a good amount of city grown pears.

If you were ME, you would clean my rifle (deer- rifle season opens soon) ...and make me dinner, oh- and sell YOUR Twitter stock Friday morning.

I have several stacks going now

Here at the B house I cleaned and re-secured the gutters after the chimney and plumbing vent pipes on the roof were tarred as needed- I remember now, there is one nail hole I missed. Rain has moved in so the gutters are getting some action. The fence reconfiguration is moving along-a few holes one day, more the next- then yesterday the posts went in. The fence gates at the alley will be moved to enclose/separate the yard from parking area and parking area will be open to alley. The wood piles have grown thanks to wood that came in on the trailer from the Como trip- thank you Tz. What else...oh, the best news is that the CB450 project has come back to The Lou. Parts are being organized on some shelves I whipped up and the bike will be in me house soon I hope. Yesterday I received a good load of salvaged 3/4" plywood and some 2x4's I will put towards the shed project.
