| an outdoor covered work space takes shape |
I was able to get the lean-to roof purlins installed and then the salvaged red metal roofing on top. This will be a nice space for an outdoor work bench, under the protection of the roof, a place to set up a power miter saw and metal chop saw and a decent vise.
The truck got a sliding rear window the other day. I removed it from a truck in a junk yard, along with a roll up cargo cover for behind the seats and some spare relays - and a nice Chevy rally wheel with tire as a spare for the new(to me) 5x10 trailer.

Work has started up again on the CB450. I completed most of the wire connections in the headlight bucket a week or so ago and disassembled a carb .and put it's parts to soaking in parts cleaner.
Yesterday I finally had a warm day available for the detailed cleaning. I cleaned, washed and then dried the parts in the oven.

Also yesterday, I discovered a great source of free and clean wood chips, composted wood chips and clean shredded leaves. I've been bringing wood chips home from the city to help alleviate some of the mud created by the wet weather with no grass or anything else growing yet. This new source or chips and organic matter is closer to me and is clean -no trash mixed in.
