The CX forks were dismantled and put back together with new seals and oil(automatic transmission fluid)-hopefully tomorrow the front end(forks, wheel, brake calliper, etc.) will go back on the bike.

One chicken (rooster) was baked over a pan of potatoes and carrots and such-then eaten fresh from the oven...yum.
